How we make the show

(Partly because you might be interested, partly to show we’re human.)

We record in a secret channel on our Discord server, using Craig. Jords rocks a Rode NT-USB Mini, and Rocky records using a Zoom H1N after losing one audio file too many to crashes.

Rocky edits the show using Ferrite, creates the cover art using Affinity Designer 2, maintains and writes the show notes for our WordPress site, and writes the posts for Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads. Jords writes the posts for Discord and Reddit.

Our transcripts are generated by an on-device language model, using Transcriptionist, because we talk too much to do it by hand. We also use an LLM to extract a list of media and games we mention from this, to populate our tags and help us find stuff.
